Prospective Students

Undergraduate Program

Prospective undergraduate students must meet all the university requirements. In particular prospective students should submit an application, secondary school academic record, standardized college entrance exams (SAT or ACT), and a $45 application fee. We encourage the following secondary school preparation. The deadline for early consideration for first time in college applicants is November 1. The deadline for transfer students is February 15 (fall semester), November 1(spring semester) and April 1(summer session).

Graduate Program(s)

Prospective graduate students should submit an application, official transcripts from all schools attended showing a 3.0 GPA, GRE scores, letters of recommendation, a letter describing professional and educational interest, and a $45 application fee. International students must provide TOEFL scores. Prior course work should include two programming languages (including one from a structured language), data structures, machine organization, calculus, and upper-level algebra, discrete mathematics, probability, or statistics. Applicants must also meet all requirements of the Graduate School; in particular, they should have grade point averages of at least 3.0. The deadline to apply is February 15 for fall admission and October 1 for spring admission for best consideration.
